Today marks the first day of one of the Holiday Home Tours I will be participating in this year!
Hosted by Amy & Christy of 11 Magnolia Lane and Jenny of Evolution of Style Blog |
I am truly very excited to get the chance to showcase my home this Holiday season along with all these fantastic bloggers. I mean, I am just so very lucky, that other than the awesome list above, I'll be joining another tour with other equally inspiring bloggers along Marty from A Stroll Thru Life here...
I will post the list of all the tour dates and homes for your visual pleasure below. But for now, to get you hopefully, even more excited, I'm sharing my Christmas Dining room this year!
I call it "Modern Rustic" since I have a lot of rustic elements in my decor this year and of course, since my style overall is Contemporary Traditional, I had to incorporate some modern themes into it too!
In love with my HUNTERS HALLOW Fresh Table Centerpiece from LYNCH CREEK FARMS |
We were lucky to be sponsored this year by the wonderful company LYNCH CREEK FARMS for our fresh greens in our home! Thank you so very much! My Centerpiece arrived perfectly nestled in careful packaging and if I could only describe to you how it all smelled fresh from the box, heavenly!
I added the red berries and eggs just because I did not want mama bird to be lonely ;-) |
Simple table setting with my Fire King set and milk glass goblet |
Ta-da! |
Truly a fun and super easy project |
And at night...
I truly hope you enjoyed this short tour, I can't wait to share the rest of our home to you! And please don't forget to check out the other fabulous home tours below, there will also be a Link-up Party on December 13 so I can check out your home as well!
Have A Fabulous Weekend!

Truly, we are all going to be busy looking and browsing thru all these homes this coming days, but you know what? It is just absolutely inspirational and oh-so-fun! ENJOY!
SO pretty, Vel, as usual. I just love that white tree and the nest. Super charming...
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Vel. I am so excited to visit these home tours. So much pretty. Love it!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, Vel..your table looks gorgeous...and I mean table!! It's rustic wood and so my style! And your place setting are so perfect. I'm working on making the lakehouse a rustic modern...or at least rustic and a bit elegant. You've given me inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI love the gingerbread ornaments on your tree...so cute. The gold rimmed dishes on the chalk board chargers are so great together! You have great taste and an eye for detail. Should you ever decide to stop being a great doctor...please take up interior design! Or, as we women should say...do both! ;-D

LUV the star in the window!!! I got a bunch from IKEA last year! Gorgeous room!
ReplyDeleteVel I always look so forward to your stunning tours. It was a true delight to look back at a past tour. I'll be back to visit soon. Blessings of the season to you!
ReplyDeleteSuch a charming table! I really like how you use the cardboards and turned them into gingerbread houses, how clever and cost efficient!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I noticed your IKEA star in your dining room. How did you light it hanging from the ceiling like that. I bought a base for mine, but would love to hang it like that. Thx!
ReplyDeleteHi Vel, it's so nice to meet you, thanks for coming by! Your tablescape is just beautiful, I love all the "Gingerbread" ornaments you made and the chalkboard place mats are perfect with the rest of the wonderful dishes, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful, Vel, as always. Love the tree and the gingerbread ornaments you made. Do cute!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful tablescape!
