Thanksgiving and the Fund-raising dinner for the victims of Typhoon Hayian was a big success!
I will share pictures from both events soon, but for now, let me share our Christmas tree!

I went very simple with our tree this year...
Glamourous nature?! |
These large beaded flowers were from Dillards last year too! Got them at 75% off |
I placed all the large beaded flowers near the top and bottom only. I also added my gold Santa I scored last year from a garage sale, I think he's the perfect topper for my tree this year.
This year too, I placed the tree in the corner near the fireplace. I just like moving the tree around the house every year. If you want to see my previous trees, CLICK HERE, HERE and HERE.
How about you, what's your tree like this year?
Will show you the details of the Living room next time!
Have a Great Week!

Oh Vel, your tree is stunning. I love it. The green and gold is so beautiful and so chic. Fabulous buys on all the ornaments. Don't forget to link up to Inspire Me tomorrow. Hugs, Marty

Your Christmas tree is just stunning, Vel. I love it!....Christine
ReplyDeleteGorgeous tree. I go with an old-fashioned, yet traditional kind of tree, using lots of reds and golds and handmade ornaments, as well as dated ornaments collected throughout my 33-year marriage.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, full tree and it looks stunning when lit. Hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous tree for a gorgeous room! Nice job!

It's gorgeous, Vel! It looks so high end designer, no one would ever guess you put it together so inexpensively ~ very talented, my friend! I love the beaded flowers, too!
ReplyDeleteThat is some gorgeous tree, Vel! I really like all the gold items against the greenery.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad your fund-raising event was successful. Can't wait to see the photos.
Your home and tree are SPECTACULAR!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your tree, it's like a Christmas movie tree, so big and so shinny with the gold accents. My favourite feature is the big Santa on top. My tree won't be up for a few weeks as I have a natural tree. I ususally put it up a few days before the Winter solstice.
ReplyDeleteI love the gold and green color scheme; it's beautiful!! I'm so excited to get our tree up in a few days!
ReplyDeleteYour tree looks beautiful! I set our tree up yesterday, but haven't decorated it yet. It's our first year with a tree and the dogs, so we're giving them a couple days to get used to having it around before we start decorating. I'm sure Ringo will think the ornaments are toys for him to play with.
ReplyDeleteIt looks amazing! I can't believe the glitter deer came from the dollar store! I clearly need to check that store out more often! Just beautiful...I haven't even brought my tree up from the basement yet!
ReplyDeleteWow, Vel! Your place looks so festive - just like Christmas should look like!
ReplyDeleteStill glowing!!!
ReplyDeleteOoh, la, la! Love the tree and the mantel; love it all! So very festive!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous tree! I have two large glittery flowers very similar to that. I just hung them tonight on the mirror in my dining room!
ReplyDeleteYour house looks perfectly decorated for Christmas! I am sad because we won't have a tree this year since we'll be in Europe for the last 2 weeks. I will just admire yours!
ReplyDeleteYou're a girl after my bling loving heart! I see we have the same dollar store reindeer too!
ReplyDeleteKelly
Your tree is so beautiful! I love the magnolia leaves. I always use the same color scheme in my home, which is red and gold. We just decorated our tree and I have yet to photograph it.
ReplyDeleteVel, I featured your beautiful home and Christmas decor today on homework. Lovely as always! xxoo Carolyn
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful Vel!!! Love the color scheme. Thanks so much for sharing at AMAZE ME MONDAY!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
