Hello Everybody! It's that time of the year again when blogland explodes with fantastic Christmas homes for our viewing pleasure.
And this year, I am deeply honored to join not one, but two fabulous tours! I joined for the first time last year, with a totally different theme from this year -
PLAIDS & CHALKBOARD CHRISTMAS, you can check that home tour
HERE.
If your heading from
Heather of Setting for Four or from
Becky of This is Happiness,
WELCOME, you already saw how marvelous their homes are and I hope my tour won't disappoint!
Thank you very much
Jenny (Evolution of Style),
Amy & Christy (11 Magnolia Lane) &
Marty (A Stroll Thru Life) for letting me join in on the tours! You ladies are the best!!!!
I also want to thank our
12 days of Holiday Homes Tour sponsor
Lynch Creek Farms for providing us with some fabulous fresh wreaths and/or centerpiece for our home!
Thank you! |
So now, sit back and relax, and on with the tour, starting with our Living Room!
I always hang paper Star Lanterns on my windows every Christmas... |
This year, I chose the geometric patterned Stars from IKEA! |
I went for a
Modern Rustic theme, and I guess the MODERN aspect of this is the black and white grosgrain ribbon and the sparkle. And the RUSTIC aspect is well, all the greens, and natural decor on the tree, from pine cones to wooden ornaments. I love this combo!
Th snowflake topper is actually a lantern which I scored from Target last year |
My Pillowscape is very simple this year - Holiday themed Lumbar pillow, Velvet Green pillows from Crate & Barrel and Wood bead pillow from The SAK |
The most REDS are on our coffee table in this room. |
Simple staircase |
Just a lot of trees and wood elements all around |
I love the greenery especially the ones I made for our mirror - with materials fresh from the backyard! |
This sign says it all |
My favorite Christmas Pillow of all! Made thru Shutterfly |
Fresh and Faux Greens work for our Mantel this year |
My favorite Christmas Stockings ;-) |
From here we can see our
KITCHEN area so let's head on there...
Our Breakfast table |
No kisses under this mistletoe, but I have lots more around our house! |
Breakfast Tablescape |
Hot Drinks Station |
Our Kitchen |
Sweets and treats on the cabinets above |
I moved my Red House lanterns into the kitchen this year |
Can't have too many stars I think, these ones from Target a couple of years ago. |
Simple foam wreath on my kitchen windows |
I brought out all the reds in the Kitchen obviously, there is more to share, but that will be for another post. For now, let us head off to the
DINING ROOM...
My favorite here other than the centerpiece are the Faux Gingerbread Ornaments and houses I made |
My lovely Fresh Centerpiece called "Hunters Hallow" From our sponsor Lynch Creek Farms! Just added some red berries and eggs for our momma bird. |
I put lights underneath the cake stand and it gives this centerpiece it's due attention! |
All set! |
I made all the Faux Gingerbread decor from old Cardboard and Puffy paint! |
If you want to know more about the Dining room click HERE |
I placed our beloved Nativity set (a gift from my mother) & my glass console in the Study/Office...
Pardon us for the mess, obviously we love books! |
Our Special nativity, all the way from the Philippines (our home country) |
Hope your not tired, since we're headed off to the
KID'S ROOMS!
My DIY "Ho-Ho-Ho" sign is back up along with the pillows and some vintage bear decors on the windows from the thrift |
My favorite little tree with my favorite ornaments of course |
In my SON'S BEDROOM someone not so friendly is ready to greet Santa...
Never thought a Laser gun would be a great stocking holder |
Love these wooden trees from Target |
I'm sure Yoda is on Santa's good side! ;-) |
And before I end my Home tour, I have to show our
CHRISTMAS LIGHTS from the outside!
From the back.... |
... to the front |
My old wreath zushed up with some ribbon and a wooden greeting |
