I did a very simple update on my doors in the kitchen...
BEFORE |
I added this...
Yup, a Decal I got from HERE |
Whenever I have parties, people often get confused as to which door to take going to the Powder room, so I thought it best to just LABEL the doors, to avoid confusion.
As usual, I chose decal because it's easy and won't damage my doors.
Their a bit on the small side if you base it on the photos, but in person, their just right.
Good enough to be seen even by the weary-eyed.
Simple projects like this make me happy and smile.
How about you, what very simple project have you done lately? Do share!
Have a Great Day!

Love, love your decal. You know how much I like labeling and monograms. :) They always make a big difference. Have a wonderful week! Maria
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. I love them.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get the decal?? It's a great idea, especially if the doors are confusing.
ReplyDeleteI created a plaque for our bathroom, which is across the hall from the Master, which in the case of some parties holds the dogs (which would be a big surprise should one open it thinking they were going into a bathroom!)
Nice job!

Perfect! I loved how you labeled the doors and yes, I'd be opening them looking for the PR too if they were so closed by! Enjoy your week hon and always take care!

They are a perfect addition - quietly elegant.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! Your kitchen is SO pretty, Vel! Have a wonderful week! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI'm filing this under "Why didn't I think of this?" We have this same issue, the laundry room door is right next to the powder room door. Smart. Very smart.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great and simple little idea -I love this detail!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea Vel!! It's so simple and functional, and really looks great!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I can't tell you how many times people have opened the door to my "junk" closet, thinking it was the powder bath. I just about die from embarrassment!
ReplyDeleteI always love your projects and a chance to get another peek at your gorgeous kitchen!
ReplyDeleteLooks fabulous! Love your kitchen :) Hope you're having a great week!

ReplyDeleteThis is really neat. I like the style of the lettering. And your kitchen is so nice!
ReplyDeleteI went back and read about your coastal changes in your living room. I love it all and it's so nice that you shopped the house and found so much. I love the sailboat!

I LOVE your decals. I wanted to put one on my front door that said "welcome" but alas the AZ heat is just too much and it slid right off. :)

ReplyDeleteThat is very cute and a very good idea especially if there are several doors ........I have a sign I put on my bathroom door too, but it is in french cause I have my bathroom done with a bit of a french look.
ReplyDeleteIt's those lil details that make our homes have our stamp on them.
