Like most of you, I bet your bath does not look like this...

.. Or maybe a big 'YES' for some. Definitely not mine.
However, we all try to make the best we can, and so, one day, here's what I did with my tub...
Small oasis of respite |
Used apothecary jars I have collected from TJ Maxx, filled it with bath salts, spa[ and sponges. I also added a fish-fish bowl also from TJ Maxx filled with more scrubs. I also have a JA candle to add ambience and of course my favorite foam baths and soap scrubs (one made by my son).
Call me VAIN but I love my mirror on my tub |
Real sea sponge I scored at an Antique mall |
Eventually moved the sponge here |
A place to relax and unwind |
Do you try to decorate around your tub? What is your favorite bath routine?
Would love to hear your thoughts! Please share away...
Have a Nice day!

Oh I love your bathroom, how gorgeous is that and all of the apothecary jars are just fabulous. Such a beautiful display. Thanks so much for joining th party. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI love how you decorated your tub! Love the jars - especially the fish...adorable! Maybe that's what I need to do around mine so it's not so blah.
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done! I have always liked seeing bath salts displayed but never have had a place to do it. I have that fish too but never thought to use it like you have- very cute ideas! Mirrors are great for reflection and a little added glitz!
ReplyDeleteI love to decorate around my tub. I have a bronze colored meditation cat from Pier 1 and a basket full of towels and a tall plant. I wish I used my whirlpool tub more but I forget to do it and it just collects dust. Yours looks very inviting!
ReplyDeleteI love what you did, Vel. I have been decorating our fL home's tub with beachy things too. I love how you added apothecary jars....Christine
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteThat's BIG enough for me, anyways.
Love the way how you put together your hurricane and apothecary jars.
FAB.
Have a greet day.

I love my tub! When we renovated - we rented a house with no tub - for 2 years!! I couldn't wait for a nice long hot bubble bath! Love your fish - and how cute that your son made you such a great gift!

ohhh id like to jump right in that tub, it looks so inviting with the sponges and soaps! i love that mirror, too!
ReplyDeleteThat looks truly inviting, Vel! I don't think I would call having that mirror right there being vain -- well, in my case it would be brave, very brave! I love having pretty things around my tub, including candles, bath salts, scrubs, etc. Wish I took the time to use mine more. It's just so easy to jump in the shower!
ReplyDeleteI love that! I am off to take a bath right now, although mine does not look quite as good as yours!
