Good Day Friends!
I know it's been a rough weekend for everybody with the recent Paris tragedy that occurred
I am still shocked and scared of what this all means and I pray for all the victims and their family and for all of France as well.
Anyway, today I wanted to share with you our Nursery bathroom reveal!
We finished this months ago, but I have just been lazy to take pictures and write about it until now.
You know how it is, sometimes you need a 'spark' to get you going, and it finally came to me yesterday.
yup, girly as can be! |
Remember the BEFORE HERE?
Brown 'goodness' everywhere |
The first thing we did was of course paint it all white.
BEHR Nude , left over from the boys bathroom and nursery.
Had some left over from the Nursery Closet Makeover but still had to buy some more.

Just to jog your memory on where I used it at |
On the vanity side, I added these...
Wall art from Hobby Lobby |
I also spray painted the towel hardware gold and covered the switch plate covers in pink striped gift wrap!
Gloomy before again |
I got the Battery-operated Marquee letter on clearance at TARGET and I added washi pink tape on the tooth brush holder from Container store. The pink cup is a freebie from MACY's! |
I removed the big IKEA cabinet here and added this shelf, also from IKEA. I spray-painted the bracket gold and covered the wood shelf with Marble Contact paper (left-over from a Kitchen project).
I really wanted to put this....
CB2 |
...but when it came, it was far too heavy and big, I would constantly be in fear of it falling over Sophia, especially when she's a bit bigger!
I also got these cute containers from CB2 which I spruced up with pink washi. The Lotus Q-tip holder is from EBAY. |
I really love how this shelf turned out. |
I also added this "S "wall hook low enough so when Sophia is a bit older, she can hang her towel or robe easily too.
Gold dots are from Classy Clutter Designs as well. |
I also have the Diaper Pail here, you can see a bit of it here in this picture, in front of Duckie |
I also changed the bathroom fixtures |

I got the fixtures from CB2 as well. I also spray-painted the handle of the old vanity gold. |
The tub within the tub |
We still use the baby tub for 2 reasons: 1) less water needed to fill up 2) Easier for Sophia to sit and not slip.
And speaking of safety...
I have this toilet cover guard. The gold foldable stool is for me when I give Sophia her bath |
I still need to find the perfect lighting for here. I'm still searching and will share it when I do.
So far, we love how it turned out and how we can easily change up the decor in this space.
For now it's clean, organized, purposeful and I think, pretty too!
Anyhow, I've been busy too decorating for Christmas already!
I'm proud to say that I will be joining other fabulous bloggers in the 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS BLOGGER TOUR,!
Thank you for looking at my project !
Hope you have a Great Week!
