Nursery Bathroom REVEAL

Good Day Friends!

I know it's been a rough weekend for everybody with the recent Paris tragedy that occurred
I am still shocked and scared of what this all means and I pray for all the victims and their family and for all of France as well.

Anyway, today I wanted to share with you our Nursery bathroom reveal!

We finished this months ago, but I have just been lazy to take pictures and write about it until now.
You know how it is, sometimes you need a 'spark' to get you going, and it finally came to me yesterday.

yup, girly as can be!
Remember the BEFORE HERE?

Brown 'goodness' everywhere
The first thing we did was of course paint it all white.
BEHR Nude , left over from the boys bathroom and nursery.

Had some left over from the Nursery Closet Makeover but still had to buy some more.

Just to jog your memory on where I used it at
On the vanity side, I added these...

Wall art from Hobby Lobby
I also spray painted the towel hardware gold and covered the switch plate covers in pink striped gift wrap!

Gloomy before again

I got the Battery-operated Marquee letter on clearance at TARGET and I added washi pink tape on the tooth brush holder from Container store. The pink cup is a freebie from MACY's!

I removed the big IKEA cabinet here and added this shelf, also from IKEA. I spray-painted the bracket gold and covered the wood shelf with Marble Contact paper (left-over from a Kitchen project).

I really wanted to put this....

CB2
...but when it came, it was far too heavy and big, I would constantly be in fear of it falling over Sophia, especially when she's a bit bigger!

I also got these cute containers from CB2 which I spruced up with
pink washi. The Lotus Q-tip holder is from EBAY.

I really love how this shelf turned out.
I also added this "S "wall hook low enough so when Sophia is a bit older, she can hang her towel or robe easily too.

Gold dots are from Classy Clutter Designs as well.
I made the LOVE wall art using the same gift wrap I used on the switch plate covers and added the L-O-V-E letters I got from H & M a year ago! I added pink washi tape around the frame too!

IKEA Duckie storage for Sophia's Bath toys

I also have the Diaper Pail here, you can see a bit of it here in this picture, in front of Duckie
I also changed the bathroom fixtures
I got the fixtures from CB2 as well.
I also spray-painted the handle of the old vanity gold.
The tub within the tub
We still use the baby tub for 2 reasons: 1) less water needed to fill  up 2) Easier for Sophia to sit and not slip.

And speaking of safety...

I have this toilet cover guard.
The gold foldable stool is for me when I give Sophia her bath

I still need to find the perfect lighting for here. I'm still searching and will share it when I do.

So far, we love how it turned out and how we can easily change up the decor in this space.
For now it's clean, organized, purposeful and I think, pretty too!

Favorite Finds at Zara Home

I've been internet window shopping lately and I visited one of my favorite online home stores, ZARA HOME recently and found a lot that I'd want to put in my home...

Flower Base Table -$169

Now I wish Sophia is way older and can handle fragile-looking beautiful furniture like this! Gorg!

Wicker Sticks table -$139
By far my favorite, and seriously considering on buying. Where to put, that is the question.
Little Square Methacrylate Table -$139
Love the brass bolt accents on this one.
Braided Leather Mirror - $79.90
It had me at "braided leather".
Checked Print Linen Cushion -$29
Very Burberry-Prorsum-like.
Tall Rubber Basket - $79
Love the look, shape and blackness of this piece.

And for the kiddos, I am crushing on these two...
Mushroom shaped Basket - $69.90
Yup, reminds me of Mario's friend... ;-)
Elephant basket -$69.90
What can I say, I'm drawn to both elephants and giraffes.

What do you think, see anything you like?

Happy Shopping Peeps!

Thanksgiving Table

Hello Friends!

How was your weekend?
Ours was BUSY! Went to the city to visit our son and roamed around the zoo the whole day, followed by a day of shopping for some essentials the next day, then attended our groups' sponsored Quiz bee before heading back home!

But before we left, I had a fun time trying out my decor for this coming Thanksgiving!

Simple Thanksgiving Centerpiece
I was inspired when I saw these gorgeous decorative Kale at Walmart a couple of weeks ago and knew then that I will be using them for Thanksgiving.

Follow me on IG HERE

I added the white pumpkins from the Living room Halloween Decor (which is all gone by now btw),
and added some of my Brass candlesticks and the 2 brass partridges I scored at the Antique Mall a month ago.

I really lobe the mix of purples and greens

I used my Jonathan Adler Plates as chargers and used my vintage Fire King set for my setting with my vintage gold flatware
The chalkboard place mat and Place cards are from Target I scored a couples of months back.
The napkins are vintage VERA NEUMANN.

You may notice the change on the back of this picture too
Since Christmas is around the corner, I moved my sofa table from the living room and Federal Mirror from the Breakfast area into this room.

I love ho the mirror reflects the Dining room well
I just placed my glass canisters with left over candies and goodies from Halloween and just added more of the white pumpkins that used to be in the Living room.

The buffet decor
The Buffet Cabinet just had the same elements as the Dining table - kale and brass!

I just love the fresh vibe and colors these beauties bring to my home
Did you notice my new lamps?

It's the Franklin Lamp Base from TARGET

I love the aged brass and warm walnut look of this large lamp and thought it would be perfect for this cold season.

My table runner was from Target as well, the coasters were from Dwell Studio
Decorating for Thanksgiving did not stop there.
I also did some purging and cleaning here...

Nice and orderly, ready for the party season!

My RH French Casement Double cabinet is now all neat
I really LOVE this cabinet but still need to put in some cabinet lighting on this baby.
Someday...:-)

All we need now is the turkey!

There you have it folks, our early Thanksgiving Dinner Table.
How about you, how are you preparing for this special holiday?

Have a Great Week !
