Basement Reveal

Remember when our basement looked like this...

Barney's Basement

Actually better already at this point since wall color was changed

With a little (actually a lot) of elbow grease, here is the labor of our hard work... For now...

There you have it folks!

Like all projects of ours, there is still a lot of improvements to made and done. But for now, this space has become more livable and likeable for us. :-)

Have a wonderful week!

    1. Thanks Mommy G!Wish you can come over too!

We love to hang out in this space too since aside from being the coolest spot in the house at the moment, the movie experience is very, very good! It still needs a lot of work as you can see, will tweak this again when our budget allows and when we have the time again!

    1. Thanks a lot Elizabeth! it's actually not laminate, but vinyl. We asked a flooring specialist and this is what they recommended for the humidity in our basement. It's easier to put up this one than laminate for sure, we love it so far, almost everyone who's seen it thinks it's wood or laminate!

  5. Love your basement areas - such big spaces! We're redoing ours into a media room and plan on getting the theater seats too. May I ask how high you made the risers? My hubby wants to make sure the back row can see the screen.

    1. Thanks Linh! Ours was 7 inches high. It depends also I think on the type of seats you get, the depth and the length of the back rest. Our incline, so we needed a lot os space too in between the seats. Good Luck and please feel free to share pics of your space with me. :-)
