Frozen Christmas Tree 2014

Hello!!!!!

My Christmas decor palooza is in full force and today I want to share with you our Christmas Trees!

Yup you read it right, TREES! Since I not only have 1 but 3 this year!
Ta-da!
I got these trees for a steal last year and what better way to arrange our first ever flocked tree but to follow all the little girl's rage this year, the movie FROZEN!

Of course, I can't have Anna and Elsa dangling from mine (maybe later on when Sophia is older and she can appreciate the characters), so for now this is my take on this chilly craze.

Our Snowflake-filled Christmas tree

I love our tree this year, I can feel the chill of winter with this tree which I just decorated with  all my Snowflake ornaments! And believe me, I have a lot!

Some of my favorite Snowflake ornaments

I also added 3 sets of twig LED lights to my already pre-lit tree and finished it off with a white-glittered wire garland which I also scored last year from Hobby Lobby!

You can see the LED lights sticking out from the sides and bottom

As you can see, my flocked tree is flanked by 2 other pre-lit half trees on both sides!
I also got it last year for $15! The flocked one for $35!!!

Right tree

Left tree
I mainly put all our sentimental ornaments on both trees and added some blue-glittered twigs and balls that I already have,

See....

I also added mesh and ribbons that I already have, on the tree. :-)

If your wondering where my console table and Federal mirror are, I will show you later on as the tour continues!

Hope you like our tree and I can't wait to see yours!

My little Sophia will be baptized this weekend and I will share with you some simple things I did for her big day too! Wish us luck - I have to decorate the venue in 1 and a half hour (more on that story when I post about it later)!!!

Have a Fabulous Weekend!

VEL

Would love to hear your thoughts! Please share away...

  3. I feel like I say this a lot, but, Vel, you exhaust me!! We did a flocked tree this year, and I just love it! I think it's so pretty. It's the first year we've ever done a fake tree, but it seemed like a good idea. Anyway... Love it! Your kids are lucky to have such a fun mama! xo Kristy

  4. I love your star tree topper! Where did you get it? It's so hard to find a nice lighted star for larger trees!

  5. Hi sarah! The actual tree topper is a beaded snowflake which you can hardly see because of the huge lighted star on the back ground which does look like the actual topper. The snowflake I got from TJ MAxx, the lighted star is from IKEA! :-)
