My 'Embarassing Secret' FIXED

Because of all your wonderful suggestions, we finally started to have our landscape fixed!

Hope you had a Happy 4th, I know I did!

Overgrown before

Yey! I could see my neighbor!

Vs. I couldn't :-(

NO MORE WEEDS... FOR NOW! :-)

WEED-XTRAVAGANZA!

I could see my windows!

Vs. I couldnt

Just nice!

Just too much

Trimmed and proper

Hurly-burly

Aaaaaahhhhhh.....

Aaaaaaggggghhhhhhh!

Now that the weeds are gone and the trees and shrubs trimmed, I need to add a bit more since my lot seems too barren?!

It never ends does it?!

Hope your having a Great Summer Day!

  1. You are too cute! Your home is lovely---my dream home!!! I have some organic stuff I get at Target that you squirt on weeds, especially the pesky ones in pavers or mulched areas. They dry up and are easy to pluck out. And no---you are not barren! Maybe a few flowering shrubs or pretty pots filled with bright annuals?!!!

    Hugs to you,

  2. Looks great Vel! I am always amazed at how things seem to become overgrown and I never seem to notice it unti it becomes a big project, instead of a quick fix, lol. I am sure you are loving the lighter look and the view from your windows! Jane

  8. It looks amazing! Is that Rose of Sharon that you have now? I love it!!! Our house has some really overgrown shrubbery in front that I need to deal with in a bad way!

  10. Looks fabulous, Vel. Sometimes, the bushes have to get a bit big and overgrown, to be hedged into a desirable shape. At least that's what I tell myself! ;)

  12. Love your bushes Vel. They weren't too bad. Ours are so overgrown the only way to trim them is mushroom shaped, lol!

  16. What a beautiful difference that landscaping made. There wasn't anything in the way it looked before that was glaringly bad, but the new trim landscape really adds that "WOW" factor!
