With our little Sophia growing steadily day by day, which means she is getting a bit more mobile as well, we decided that it's time to change our old wooden coffee table and move it for now to the basement.
Sturdy, very functional, and the style goes with everything I've done to the living room.
However, like I mentioned before, I just can't picture it with these....

And an ottoman I think would be the best choice.
So far I've narrowed it down to these:

I love the neutral top and of course those legs! Not sure about the shape though...
Horchow |
I love how it looks. definitely kid-safe, but might be too heavy? And again, the shape....
Wayfair |
How about this? I was thinking I could move it outside eventually and the storage helps too,
Just not lovin' the colors of this one...
MGBW Home |
Love the shape and the legs of course.
Restoration Hardware |
Love the versatility of this one, indoors and outdoors.
Safavieh Amazon |
And last but not least is this beauty, I love the tufted look and the price is pretty reasonable too!
So friends, what do you think?
Hope you have a Great Week!
VEL
Would love to hear your thoughts! Please share away...
If you are thinking outside later on, the I say either 3 or 5. They would also look fabulous in your room.
ReplyDeleteLove upholstered ottomans as coffee tables. So comfortable to put your feet on. My vote is for one of the lucite leg options. It will tie in nicely with your lucite side table. Plus, I think you'll love an upholstered ottoman so much you won't want to go back to a wood table (speaking from experience).
ReplyDeleteHi Vel! Oh, this is a smart idea! With our little grandson, we just took our coffee table away for a while. My vote would be for the second one! ;) You'll make the right choice.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Thai is a great idea. Because I see something else acrylic I guess the one with acrylic legs would work but I think square would work better for your furniture configuration. I'm thinking you could use something with more function too since you'll be loosing the hard top surface. Here's another idea http://www.wisteria.com/Pintucked-Coffee-Table/productinfo/W4252
ReplyDeleteThey're all beautiful, my favorite is the one from Z Gallery! If you're thinking on bring it outside later on, maybe the RH though it may be pricey.
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful Vel, I expect nothing less from you and your sophisticated eye! I like the rectangular ones, since they mimic your table now and you say that you love your existing table. It will give you more space on the floor, too, for Sophia to play. That said, we all know how quickly this stage goes, so if the square works better and then you get to move it outside, pulling double duty, I say go for it! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI like the Horchow one the best, but the Z Gallerie one is lovely too! I guess I kind of like them all. :) Good luck picking one!
ReplyDeleteI love the last one form Amazon the best. My daughter has a fabric ottoman from Joss & Main that has held up well with her dog jumping on and sleeping on it (no kids yet)!!

Little Sophia is getting so big now!!! I remember trying to safeguard my toddlers from the table too. Can't wait to see what you choose.
ReplyDeleteI like the first and second ones the most! But I fear the first one may be too light to have a toddler climbing all around it. Whatever you choose will be great and you will make it work though!

ReplyDeleteSo many great choices but I am loving the square tufted with the lucite legs. Can't believe sweet Sophia is growing up so quickly! Happy Wednesday, Vel
ReplyDeleteI had to move my wooden coffee table too! That Zgallerie one is very glam! So is the Horchow...actually they are all lovely. Tough decision ahead! Looking forward to seeing what you choose.
ReplyDeleteWe had to remove our wooden coffee table with our littlest. He was so busy! As I image Sophia being at this age. I love the Safavieh ottoman!
ReplyDeleteSo many fabulous choices! The first and second one are my favorites!
