Finally, after or month long travel, and weeks of settling back in, I'm finally ready to share with you
our Summer Living room!

I moved all my blue and white collection into the living room from the Dining room, and the plants all around made the room feel fresher too!

My mother-in-law pruned the tips last winter and look at all the new branches and leaves that have sprouted! They are just a joy, eliminating my 'black thumb curse' hopefully once and for all! ;-)

Hope I didn't bore you with all the details.
This will also be probably the last time I get to use our old coffee table for a while since we will be switching to an ottoman soon! Thank you for all your suggestions on our Ottoman Search, it was truly a tough choice, but my hubs and I made the decision already and will explain and show you the 'winner' in the next week or so!

As always, Vel - your room is stunning! There are so many layers of perfection and the colors...beautiful. So sophisticated, but it still has a charming, homey feel. I think it's a good call to switch to a softer ottoman while Sophia is a toddler. It's such a short time and who knows, you might end up liking the ottoman more than the coffee table. ReplyDeleteYour touches of blue and white are lovely. The green leaves of the plants add wonderful punches of color and that comfortable feel to your living room. Your room is lovely, your sofa is the style I am looking for. The low tract arms and squared off loose cushions are a great look for this room. What is the name of the wall color, it looks very similar to SW's Kilim Beige (I have in my living room).
