Dining Room Chandelier Options

Hello Friends! Sorry for being M.I.A. for a week, just been really busy with life and on top of which, busy decorating for Christmas! ;-)

Anyway, I've been wishing to change my Dining room Chandelier for a while now...

Yup, this one

When we bought this foreclosed home, there was no chandelier and I had to hurry up and choose one before we moved in. I chose this inexpensive black modern chandelier because I knew it could go with anything. But the time has come for me to choose something I really want for the space, basically, something crystal and here are my candidates...

1) Elegance Crystal Swag Chandelier from Shades of Light
2) Maria Theresa 12 light Chandelier from Horchow

3) Pelre 6 Light Chandelier from Ballard Designs

4) Manor Court Crystal Chandelier from RH Teen

Very tough right? I know I probably won't change it in time for the holidays, but I'm hoping to so do pretty soon. What do you think? Which one would you choose? Any other suggestions? Of course size and price matters as with any decision for the home, anything  >30" in width and price <$1500 would be reasonable for me

Thank you friends!

Have a Great Week!

Master Closet Lighting Options

I was suppose to share with you Valentine touches around our home, but really didn't feel like my heart or mind was into it currently. Aside from battling illness for myself and my little baby, the closet has been pre-occupying my mind all the time! So today,  I want to ask your opinion on something fun - LIGHTING!

Right now we have 2 recessed lighting in our closet which I really don't care for that much.
And since we will have lighting inside all the cabinets in the closet, I want a beautiful, statement piece that will function well in our closet.

Meaning, I want just one statement lighting to go into the room, and with my love for anything and everything beautiful, choosing the right lighting is just oh-so-hard!

So please, tell me, if you had to choose among these, which would it be and why? I have a photo of the space below,  where this lighting will go....

Do you have a lighting option I didn't put in here? Please do share, I am confused like crazy right now but would consider other options too! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Have a Happy Valentines Day!!!!!

Jonathan Adler Ventana Chandelier

When I planned my kitchen, I always had this Chandy in mind for my Breakfast area…

However, budget constraints and other priorities made me push back on getting this lighting.
So we kept our old one…

Not bad
I got this lighting from Overstock.com when we moved into the house in 2010.
We didn't have any lighting at all in this area and I love the contemporary look.

But when the kitchen was done, I knew that I will have to change the lighting since it looked too small now for our table and breakfast area all together.

So last Valentines/President's day Sale, I finally took the plunge and got a deep discount on the lighting I always wanted from Lumens.com!

Ta-da!

It also looks great at night…

Brighter and better

I kinda got excited taking all these pictures, but truly, I'm so happy to make this change.
And I'm glad that I was right to love this lighting for my space all along!

Have your ever made a choice and waited and waited and looked and looked and ended up going back to your first love like I did?

Hope you have a Great day!
