Halloween Decor in the Kids Rooms

It's almost Halloween,  and other than the house being ready, I'm knee-deep busy preparing my Master Bedroom for the coming reveal! Hope you come by in a few days  to see how much progress I've made and still need to do!

Anyway, to go with the season, let me share with you my Kid's rooms for Halloween! Let's start of in Sophia's room.

For anyone new to the blog, Sophia is my 3 year old toddler, and because she is at that age, we still have her crib-turned-toddler bed as her main bed.

Added these cute skeleton banner above her bed and changed her bedding to simple black and white
dots. These were sewn by my MIL from the flat sheet of her WHIM bedding.

Nothing scary here

Across her bed is MY BED, I mean, the DAY BED

Added the old BOO banner on the window and again some pops of black and white on the bed

Here is the proud owner of this room all decked out in, of course, black and white.

Now let's head of to my middle son's bedroom. My teenager of course "Doesn't do Halloween" anymore. :-(

Nothing complicated, just simple Halloween decor to share to you all and of course, my kids to enjoy and feel the season more. Hope you all have a wonderful and safe Halloween!

Happy Trick or Treating!

Kid-Friendly Halloween Living & Dining Room

You all know how "Halloween Crazy" I can be.

But over the years, my Halloween Craziness has mellowed down. I've never been in to any Gore and scary things, always wholesome I think (except for skulls and spiders), and definitely kid-friendly. Kid-friendly I know, because my little toddler loves my decorations and doesn't get scared of them, unlike some store and home displays she's seen. ;-)

So today, let me share with you my Halloween decorations downstairs in our home...

Not much change from Fall decor except for the pillows and creepy crawlies all around!

I still love my table napkin pillow cover we made a couple of years back!

My Alexander McQueen SAVAGE BEAUTY coffee table book is always perfect for this eason

Silver and gold, silver and gold....skulls!

I love putting these spider runners on my windows

Notice my new lamp? I love it, it's from TARGET

With the sun out like this, definitely not creepy!

My blue and white got some dose of BLACK.... creattures!

My favorite 'spider' crawling up the steps!

More spiders and skulls by the phone

Still love this old sign and placed it by my entry table

Painted the cat painting over here. Lucky to be invited to my friend's painting party, it was a lot of fun to do, although
one of my cats look more like a squirrel! LOL!

Now, let's go to the Dining room...

Used my vintage amber glassware for drinks

Treats for the big day!

I love my table this year, all the brass and black just go together so well!

I put my outdoor shell and succulent centerpiece indoors and placed all my old black fruits from Halloweens past in here. I think it looks marvelous!

Love my Caskata plates!

Printed out some place cards and rested them on these mini-white pumpkins!
In the kitchen, I really didn't do too much Halloween to share here. Other than the dish towels and a few wall decor, the breakfast area is where I concentrated...

Say HELLO to our cute skeletons?!

MONSTERS toys are out!

There's something on my light....

Coffee anyone?!

I hope you are Halloween ready by now. Our costumes this year will be simple (I'm running out of steam, need to prepare for Christmas already), hope you can stop by and check it out next week when I share the two kid's rooms!

Have a Great week!

One last Halloween post...

Hope you had a very HAPPY HALLOWEEN! For sure, our family did, and I hope you'll bear with me, if I post about it one more Halloween post. This is short and sweet since this is the kid's rooms!

But before I do, let me just say HOW ECSTATIC I AM because of this...

Good-bye SOMEDAY!!!!!
The first ever Baseball game I ever saw was in Wrigley's and I just fell in love with the Cubs and every fan of the CUBS! I love the Cardinals too, a team closer to home, but my heart was always with the CUBS and I and my whole family are still beaming from this!

Anyway, on with business..

As you noticed, my son has kept his room fairly intact. Mom just zhushed it up a bit with some Halloween items.

Bat pillow looks cute in the bed

And in Sophia's room, I had the same BOO Garland...

There you have it, I am now excited to start decorating for CHRISTMAS!

Have a Great Weekend!

Dining with the Dead - Halloween Dining Room

Hello Friends! I can't believe it'll be HALLOWEEN next Monday and I am so glad I finished my home in time for this fun holiday!

You've already seen my HALLOWEEN LIVING ROOM and FRONT PORCH, which I think is usually the "subtle rooms" when it comes to my Halloween decor. But today, I will share with you where Halloween actually usually "EXPLODES" in our home, THE DINING ROOM...

Welcome?! ;-)

Notice something new?
As you can see , my Halloween Dining Room this year is just all about gauze, skulls and heads! Yikes!

I didn't realize how many blinged-up skulls I already had and decided to put them on the table en masse'!

Added some spiders all around too. Yup, love spiders!

I used my favorite Caskata salad plates and added my spider web place mats on top of the gold chargers instead. My black silverware (a score from Target years ago) and Halloween goblets, round up my setting.

Also had these cute BOO plates to use!

The Mirror shelf and buffet were just simple Halloween displays with apothecary jars filled with candy.

And at night...
Love the glow of my candles

There you have it, my most HALLOWEEN-Y room in the house! There is one more room, rather two,  that I added Halloween decors in. Can you guess which ones? I will share them on Halloween!

Hope you all have a Fabulous week, there is still time to get in on the Halloween fun!
